Tried 550 calories entrees, Asian Chicken Salad and Asiago Cheese Steak. When plate came out was disappointed at portion size, but glad that was all I had to eat...it was very adequate. Presented well. Server Chris was pleasant. We'll give the restaruant another try and another meal.

Applebees is my favorite place to eat. Reasonable prices, background music/noise is low enough that we are always able to talk to each other, staff and managers always friendly and helpful. Applebee's restaurants do have a tendency to be a bit hit and miss. Typically the staff are friendly and fun, they even chat with my 6 year old grand-daughter, but the food might be inconsistent at times.

That said my favorite thing on their menu is the Chicken Fried Chicken...and get the mashed potatoes..
Big portion, you'll not leave hungry I assure you, and its quite tasty.

Overall I find Applebee's an enjoyable place to eat and relax.

Just want to say your food is delicious and service fantastic. But, I was in the Lagrange restaurant with my brother who has lung and brain cancer. He needed to go to the bathroom, so I opened door and pushed him in. He came out and said he could'n t even get his wheelchair into the stall because it was to close against the wall and other stall. Boy! I had the best Reuben sandwich!!! Was years since I had one!!! This is a must try!! Our server had a minor mishap, my husband ordered the Brewster Burger, and the server brought the A1 Steak Burger, had to wait about 16-20 min., but it was worth it. My cheeseburger sliders were excellent but my date's salad was miniscule. What was presented was a childs potion of lettuce in a kidney shaped bowl. She wanted a "salad" but received a minimum portion. A replacement salad arrived, but was identical in size! A miniscule amount also of dressing was included and a side dish was requested. The menu needs to have an adult sized salad for guests to select. The value of her salad was definintely not worth what the menu charge was.

I had the BEST server @ the Applebees in Chesterton, IN. Great Job, John! When I visitied that Applebees the following week, I commented to the manager what a wonderful server that Applebees had in John. He replied that John receives compliments frequently. Wow, that is an awesome comment to be able to share about an employee. The manager stated that he would give John the compliment and offered this web site. So, kudos to John and Applebees in their service!

A friend of mine and I went into this restauarant on dec 21, 2009 at 6:07pm . Our waitress name was Elise G. Table # 018. After taking the order we did get it pretty fast. But the steak was not fully cooked . She asked us one time right after food was brought if we wanted refill. after that we had to flag down other waitress in another section 3 diffent times. Our waitress never responded when walking by us she was intent on waiting on booth across from us who were there before we came.

This was by far the worst visit I have had at applebees ever!!My wife and I got to the the applebees(8331 old troy pike store #8331)at 1:55pm,we placed our order by 2:07pm and we did not receive our order until 2:47 pm.My wife orered a app sampler and myself a the fork and knife steak sandwhich and 2 waters,the waitress along with other employees and the mangement was to busy talking to a employee that came in to eat.And never got an apology from mgt.We wont be back or reccomend applebees!!

I visit your restaurant often and really enjoy ordering the specials especially the two for $19.99 Entrees, + appetizers included, such a deal for my husband and myself, and I also love the frozen drinks avail they are such a treat! Went to Blue Ash Ohio location after church today with three friends. We all ordered soup and salads. Took waay longer than it should have to receive our food. We also each ordered additional salad or soup, which it seems should just be a matter of spooning soup into a bowl or putting salad on a plate. No cooking was involved. Why did it take so long? I don't think it was the server, but the kitchen. Restaurant was not very busy for early Sunday afternoon. Maybe because of slow service?

I always enjoy the food; however, those new menus are horrible! White print on a dark background sucks in dark lighting. The menu should be printed in "Black " print on white background or lighter background colors. My suggestion whould be to trash and revamp these menus written on those dark color
paper, not the food menu from which to order--just the paper menus on which the food order(s) are printed! I am not sure if I am the only protester of this new menu printing? The food was tasty.

The wait was not bad, the food wasn't bad either although the salmon was very samll.James even came over to ask if there was anything we needed. The problem came when we tried to pay. The waitress said it would be a minute or two to run the credit card. Well.....45... yes FORTY FIVE MINUTES LATER we were still waiting. In the meantime James,( the mgr I guess) told us he had a backup system for this.We were NOT taken care of until I said IF I have to wait an hour, I am leaving without paying

My husband & I were in the Apple-bee's in Clovis NM on 12/16/09. We hadn't gone in to eat in about 3 months because it seems as though we get bad service everytime we go in. We had another bad expierence but because of the kind manager, he made everything right. The order was taken wrong, the order took FOREVER and when it came it was wrong and partly cold. The steaks were out of this world, but the potaotes and salads were less than desirable. They were not that busy..

The service was great. Food was plenty and excellent. Personally myself I did not enjoy the mashed red skin potatoes. I used to, but something had changed this time. They were really chunky. I also missed the seasoning on the vegetables that used to be used.
