Go to http://apps.facebook.com/feedback_com to install the free Feedback Tab for Facebook. For help installing and setting up your tab, please view the Getting Started page.

How much does it cost? (top)

Nothing. The Feedback Tab for Facebook and Feedback.com are free.

What's the difference between the Feedback Tab for Facebook, and my page on Feedback.com? (top)

The Feedback Tab for Facebook gives you an easy way to get and manage feedback completely within Facebook. Better yet, it helps you take complete advantage of all of Facebook's great social media benefits, while giving you more control over the feedback people give.

Your page on Feedback.com displays everything that happens on your Feedback Tab for Facebook. It also gives people a place to find you through search engines and on the web, and directs more traffic to your Facebook page.

Can I feature specific feedback on my Feedback Tab? (top)

Yes. By default, every new feedback is auto-featured on your Feedback Tab for Facebook. You can control each single feedback that appears on your Feedback Tab in two ways:

  1. Mark feedback you do not want displayed as "Private." In your Admin Dashboard, click on "Manage Feedback." Select the feedback you want to hide. From the "Mark As" drop-down, select "Private."
  2. Turn "auto-feature" off. In your Admin Dashboard, click on "Manage Feedback." At the top of your inbox, you'll see a setting that reads "Auto-feature all new feedback on Facebook: On." Click "Turn Off" to manually feature individual feedbacks.

Can I hide feedback? (top)

Yes. In your Admin Dashboard, click on "Manage Feedback." Select the feedback you want to hide. From the "Mark As" drop-down, select "Private." This will hide the selected feedback on both your Feedback Tab for Facebook, as well as on your page at Feedback.com.

Can I reply to feedback? (top)

Yes. In your Admin Dashboard, click on "Manage Feedback." Click on the feedback that you'd like to reply to. Enter your reply, and click "Send." Your reply will be sent to the feedback giver via email, and will be threaded on any Facebook wall posts as a comment.

How do I change the intro text that appears on my Feedback Tab and my page on Feedback.com? (top)

In your Admin Dashboard, click on "Settings." Under the Edit your intro text section enter the text you would like to appear, then click "Update Intro Text."

How do I post a feedback request to my wall? (top)

On your Feedback Tab, just click "Post a feedback request to my wall."

You can also do this in your Admin Dashboard. Click on "Settings." Under the Ask for feedback section, click "Post Update to Wall"

How do I create a coupon or offer? (top)

In your Admin Dashboard, click on "Coupons & Offers" and follow the on-screen steps. To create a coupon or offer, you'll need:

  • Headline
  • Description
  • Image
  • Terms (optional)
  • Expiration (optional)
  • Thank you message

What happens when someone gives feedback on my Feedback Tab? (top)

Their feedback is posted to your Feedback Tab (if auto-feature is turned on), to your wall, to their wall, to your page at Feedback.com, and is auto-tweeted by Feedback.com

Is there a way to sign in without using Facebook? (top)

No. Instead of creating a separate account to remember, we have fully integrated with Facebook to make it simple and easy for everyone that has a Facebook account. If you don't have a Facebook account, you'll need to create one to sign in here.

Why do you need permission to access my Facebook account? (top)

Facebook requires that you grant permission for us to authenticate via your Facebook account. We only use the minimum information necessary, and you can disconnect your account at any time.

Do I have to sign in to give feedback? (top)

Yes. We require sign-in to encourage authentic feedback and meaningful dialogue between customers and businesses.
